Using GifWidget

GifWidget integrates Giphy for discovering gifs, and it also supports any other gif you choose: simply save the desired gif to your device, and you're good to go.

We have fine-tuned the application to utilize minimal resources, but it is advisable to opt for lower quality levels as animations consume more memory with higher quality settings:

• Low: ideal for 1x1 widgets
• Medium: suited for 2x2 widgets
• High: recommended for 4x4 widgets
• Source: original quality, regardless of size - not advisable due to potential resource impact

Kindly note that extended animations demand significant memory resources. If playback is interrupted or fails to load, the file may exceed your device's capacity. You can restart a stalled animation by tapping on the widget.

Concerned about battery usage? The animation will pause when the screen is off, lessening the impact on battery life.
